round ball shaped cores, which research has

Our
unique timpani felt is made in seven
different depths to give the timpanist precise
control over articulation.
These subtle and even grading steps, which
are not found on other types of timpani stick,
extend the normal articulation spectrum and
greatly enhance the
musical possibilities of
the timpanist.

Our
special felt produces completely even,
consistent pairs of sticks without seams or
stitching
and so gives a constant sound all

which reduces vibration and gives
excellent balance and strength. |

Our
bamboo shafts are carefully and accurately
matched for diameter and weight.
They are made to include the natural
bamboo knot
which gives the advantage of firmer shafts
and
great resistance to warping compared with those
made without knots.
We place the knot in the same position on
every
shaft to ensure consistent response.
Our bamboo timpani mallets are end
plugged,
smoothly finished and micro-coated with
lacquer for
perfect handling. |
